New working life
Im stealing a couple of mins off work to update my blog. Just had a meeting and so i guess can take a breather ya? Haha. Into the 2nd month of my new PR job now. And finally after the one relaxing month of being a newbie, workload is increasing and stress is kicking in!
There are alot of new stuff to learn and i have been bugging all the senior staff here. Surely hope they dont tink im an irritating newbie. I have a pretty mentor here too, Daphne. And a really young DD. Really hope i can get the hang of things and blend into the work culture soon!
My new colleagues been friendly. Besides, I have 2 great lunch khakis now too, Evelyn and Olivia. At times, all the new & young gals from other units will lunch together too. That of cos include my 1st fren whom i got to know during interview times, Serene.
And then the camwhoring starts.. Haha. Here's a collage of me and Evelynn on NYE.
What i did on 31-12-08 NYE??
Gav invited us over to his place @ Icon for some Awfully Choc (which i asked him to get =p) and some finger food. We had ben & jerry's, played a few rounds of WII mario superkart, very competitive tennis games, boxing and bowling. BT was with me too. So at around 11ish, we left to make our way to THE SAIL, to catch the fireworks at Marina Bay wit my dear cousin!
Well, ICON and THE SAIL could have been a 10 mins walk away, BUT becos we are lazee pple, we decided to take a cab. HENCE, we ended up stuck in a jam along Lao Pa Sat, and compensated the taxi uncle extra money to get off, and walked to THE SAIL. The final amount we paid was 16 freaking bucks, from tanjong pagar to one raffles quay. When we finally got there, we couldnt reach MR R HO, becos the network was all jammed up. Ok, im not complaining becos we still managed to get there in time to catch the 8 mins? fireworks, from the lobby of THE SAIL. Wasnt too crowded also, so quite enjoi.
The last day of the year was a memorable one indeed. A pic of the spectacular fireworks at Marina Bay :)

And lastly, new year resolutions 09:
2008 was quite an eventful year for me and generally a happy year. A new house, a new job and many other momentous occasions. =D
2009 resolutions:
1) To be able to drive out alone, without having my dad nagging beside me!
2) Excel in my new job so i can be made a perm staff
3) Execise more, eat healthily
... and To make the best of each day!
