Hoorrayy! Only for a day though, yes, pathetic. :) Took a while thinking how i'd spend this 'non-working' day. I really want this to be the Perfect 'non-working' day.
I'm really someone who lovess to make BIG plans (ambitious ones too). I try to squeeze in many activities in a day or meet as many frens i cld. Hmm but why not? Since time is so precious. But somehow, i've learnt to take things at a slower pace and to enjoy quality time, than to rush thr' things.
Funny few days ago, i was making big plans like perhaps go out to the gym, go swim, go do pedi, hava nice lunch, catchup wit frens over tea and mayb shop a lil, all in a day. But when i woke up this morning, i thought it'd b jus great if i were to stay home all day, take a good rest and do my fav @ home thing- watch dvds. So today shall be a nice & less hectic day. Hav a relaxing facial planned up and dinner appointment.
I just had my big breakfast and watched a romantic movie that warms my heart & it made me cry! The Waitress. Been meaning to catch this show, but it was always rented out. The concept of this show revolves around baking delicious pies of all sorts. And the cutest thing, customised pies to suit how ya feeling! This is definitely another movie ill watch another time! And i love this pie song.

Back from HK a couple of days ago, with body aching from long hours of walking. On the plane, the oh-so-boring me, had to repeat watchin movies i alr watched b4. Switching between The Dark Knight, Mamamia and SATC. I realise i have this tendency to enjoy watching old movies over again, eat the same kind of food repeatedly.. mayb i jus dun like trying new stuff and prefer the "comfort zone". So totally not adventurous! Andthe emo crap mus hav gotten into me, that i teared watching SATC & Mamamia!!
Everyday in Hk, i wake up at 10ish, get ready for lunch, and then its shopping all the way till 10pm. An average of 9 hrs of walking, fishing for SALES, becos Hk is full of branded stuff that is so exp, that i'd only buy if its a good deal. And lucky me, bought 2 items tis trip that i thought were a real steal !!! A fendi watch fr Sogo, with diamonds, pearl face for 60% off! Unbelievable yah!!?!
And made a pair of Fendi plastic framed specs. Since when did i start having all these fendi items! All the branded frames fr gucci, miu miu, prada were super cheap! If i go back to Hk next yr, i'd surely go get more! Also met up with Shara, my cousin who was on exchange in HK uni. We did shopping at Central, H&M. Hang ard streets of TST, Harbourcity, Whampoa, Central & Causeway bay most of the time. Didnt get muchie clothes tis time round, cus the shops mainly sell the winter stuff. Got a new hot pink skin for my white iphone for only 4sgd! Besides the usual dim sum, roasted meat & noodles, had steamboat which was pretty good. Huge servings and had wagyu beef slices, and hua diao jiu chicken. Very deliciousss. So fat now lah. Sian-ness.
I jus feel so dead tday, not v hungry too.
Last nite i saw a dead kitten by the road. I wasnt sure it was dead initially, hence out of morbid curiousity, i went closer n closer, it wasnt moving! *wails*
Catching Ma-da-gas-car later, hope its a good one, so i can luff out loud (LOL)!

The Kukup Trip (Oct 4 &5)
A memorable and fun trip where we had to 'babysit' blurrr jason and correct him for the umpteenth time that Kukup isnt pronounced as 'ku-karp'. :)
The one night stay at Kukup was better than i expected! Food was good, had a few meals at the seafood restaurant, and had the owners of the 'chalet' come cook for us when we were playing MJ in the late afternoon plus bbq for us one evening! The place was relatively clean, has air-con, home ktv system, and a few mj tables! The village also sells old skool stuff like Old Maid playing cards and Pop Pop. There were mudskippers everyywheerreee! We tried to 'disturb' them by splashing water & throwin poppop. Heheheh we oso played Fireworks!
The best thing was definitely the company! Going on a one-day trip with my blfs, all those stupid jokes, luffing out loud and teasing each other was price-less! Wouldnt mind going again, since its only about 2 hours of bumpyy ride away .. and futhermore, its only $80!

Sigh. The sudden downpour left me totally drenched this morning on the way to work. *sneezes* I had no umbrella, so i used my bag to cover. I stood helplessly at the traffic junction, under the heavy rain. Sobz. I waited there for the longest time for the stupid traffic light to turn green! Oh come on! Thank goodness a kind soul offered to share his umbrella. He must have pitied me lolz. By then, i was alr cursing and swearing, my pants and top all wet. SUX!
The Work-Out Week
Last week, i played 2 hrs of tennis, 2hr of badminton, i jogged and went to the gym twice!

While i couldnt stop grumbling over the fact i could not get wad i want, (which is to slack for a month!), im quite lucky in a way i got the job and it was definitely a timely one.

Im settling in really well in my new house. Sleeping better now, after much complaints that i "down-graded" to a much smaller bed. My little pillows always end up on the floor in the mornings. And sleeping better now means, higher chances of being late for work!

The place's called Marina South Pier!
Was there once a couple of months ago with ss. Hard to find such places here already. If i didnt remember wrongly, there were only like a few of us at the viewing deck. Its a nice place to jus relax, lie down, star gaze, and enjoy the quietness and the sea breeze.
