1) Fri nite was lotsa fun at loy's house. Played a round of MJ! Supposed to share half-half with ivan, but i refused to get up cos i was on a winning streak! Until kena "bao" 4 tais by Aaron! And i played a few rounds of of mario kart racing (go Toad GO! mushroom head!) and boxing on WII too! About Toad the happy little mushroom, he's so cutee. Always grinning and happy! Left ard 2am, when the poker starts! Walaoo! Here's Toad.
2) Sat afternoon was spent at gavin's house for CG. We did the chapter on Israel (To Walk and Not Grow Weary), discussing about Nostalgia. We shared about our "nostalgic moments". Like many others, we often look back and compare our present state to the good times before, forming a misconception that the past is better than the present?? Hmm..This chapter reminds us to be thankful and grateful for the present, and not dwell on the past. Similarly in the saying that goes, "Nostalgia is a seductive liar."A liar, it is, as we humans only remember past moments of joy, the carefree lives, the golden moments, forgetting the hardships and unhappiness. Hence these "moments" forms the "experience" which equates to "nostalgia".
And then, i played WII (its toad again!) and Guitar Heroessss again wheeee~ Met up with two girliesss (plus a girlie's bf) for dinner @ playground. We went for a longg walk along ecp aft dinner then its desert time!
3) Sun i went to watch The Coffin, with iris derick and etc gang. EEE not scary *act brave* haha. Abit bothered cus i tink *somebody* hatess mee.. i can feel it! Oh wellss........ my own assumption LOL :@ We had BKT for dinner. Feeling abit sick aft tt.. so didnt join for dvd session. Mr nice pinky sent me home, tog wit derick n lynn!
4) Mon: Went for lunch buffet with my family. Rest of the day was nua-ing and tryin to recover from flu.
