Ever since i was young, i had interest in Music. My parents thought since i was musically-inclined, they enrolled me for piano classes when i was about 5. I enjoyed those classes. We sang to the tunes do re mi fa so.. and learnt about rythem, how to play the triangle, instruments and the key board.
As i grew older, i got distracted by the many things i had to deal with such as school work, CCAs, new frens and interests, i started to dread piano classes and theory. To make it worse, piano teachers were horrible cos they love hitting my nuckles with pens when i missed notes and when i did not practice enough. Then, I dont like to practice and i was rather complacent, thinking that i could get away with just one practice before class. And I absolutely sucked at Sight Reading. I remembered how i struggled at every single note. That's how bad.
Through the years, the piano slowly became a white elephant at home. Occasionally, i would still play the piano when i get hold of nice songs. Now, it is time to part with my piano. I had to sell the piano away cos i am going to move to a new place soon, and it would save us alot of hassle shifting from place to place. My dad sold it to a dealer for $800 last nite. Abit sad lar cos it was with me for many years already.
So goodbye to my 19-year-old mahogany Yamaha piano. Will probably get a new piano, perhaps just a keyboard, when i move into the new apartment in mid Sept.

Officially moving O-U-T on the 10th July to rented place at Serangoon, then 10th Sept, to the new house.
